Fran describes herself as a people person who thrives on building successful professional relationships.
Beginning her working life as a Registered General Nurse, followed by Psychiatric Nursing for many years, Fran then undertook tertiary study in Human Resources and Industrial Relations, further extending her deep interest in people and their wellbeing.
For the last 27 years this interest has been particularly focused on the workplace where Fran has worked extensively both as a consultant and in senior management applying her skills based on the deeply held beliefs that:
- people want to enjoy, be good at, and achieve success in their work, whatever that work may be, and whatever their level in the organisation
- people’s ability to enjoy, be good at, and achieve success in their work can be significantly impacted by factors such as an organisation’s structure, strategies, systems, and culture that, along with other factors, have the capacity to be either drivers or blockers.
Fran delights in establishing relationships with organisations – sometimes bringing in Associates if appropriate - to identify what’s working well, what’s causing concern, and what may need to change, with a view to achieving workplace outcomes that add value for individuals, teams, and organisations.
